Living Will

Your living will provides instructions for your end-of-life treatment. It applies after you are diagnosed with a terminal illness and unable to communicate. Your living will instructs your health care providers on the extent of medical care you prefer. The burden of end-of-life decisions falls upon your family if you lack a living will (also known as an advance directive).
